Breads in SF 3/6 and East Bay 3/8

Hello hello,

This week saw a whole lotta loaves! There were more loaves,
muffins and deliveries than ever before! This means a few
changes are afoot. For summary, scroll to the bottom.

First, we have some wonderful new delivery girls hauling
loaves around the city. These bread ladies are swift and safe!
Please welcome them with your beautiful smiles when they
arrive! (And feel free to tip them a few bucks!) If you're
interested in doing some deliveries, please let me know!

Second, the payment/delivery system will be morphing
over the next few weeks. To make our routes a little more
fluid, and to help us stay on schedule in case of unforeseen
bike troubles, please provide a delivery spot that is safe if
you are not home. This can be behind your porch plant, at
your neighbor's, at your workplace, etc. If you will only be home
for a small window, we'd prefer it if you left us a check or paid in
advance. This will make the deliveries less stressful, allowing us
to have a fun and relaxing day of bike deliveries!

Finally, we'll be rolling out a new bread subscription service!
You can purchase multiple loaves in advance in person or through
Etsy. Prepay for 4 or 8 loaves at a time, or a combo of loaves and
muffins. Once you've purchased, you'll have credit in the bread
bank and can order as many (or few) loaves as you'd like each week.

Now, the menu!

will not be home to receive the bread, please leave a check for Sadie
Scheffer, and we will drop off your bread!

  1. Hello! My friend Kara forwarded me the call to arms for bread delivery riders- and I am interested in finding out more about this exciting career. What is the best way of contacting you? Let me know. Thanks! Gillian
