New Menu, Week of 3/27

Hello hello!

Some exciting developments are afoot! We've found a big, beautiful kitchen in
San Francisco to call our own, and will be moving in this coming week. Please
note, this is a shared facility, and while we are extremely careful and clean,
and will meticulously guard our work area from any stray flour, there is a small
possibility of cross-contact with gluten. At this time there is only one baker
in the kitchen, and we will be careful to schedule different work hours. We
will use our own equipment and our own ingredient storage area. If you have
any questions or concerns, please send them this way. Once we're up and
running in the space, we will invite you to come visit to see our process!

Coming up this week: The Community Supported Bakery (CSB) Subscription
Program and a new delivery policy with a very slick Bike Delivery Map!

This week's schedule is as follows:

Monday 3/26 - order your breads by noon for SF delivery
Tuesday 3/27 - SF deliveries
Wednesday 3/28 - order your breads by noon for East Bay delivery

New Bread Menu!

Happy Wednesday to you all. I'm recovered from the early start
yesterday (I had these beauties stacked and ready to go before 10!)

Mckenna delivered in the Lower Haight, Richmond and Sunset

Breads in SF 3/6 and East Bay 3/8

Hello hello,

This week saw a whole lotta loaves! There were more loaves,
muffins and deliveries than ever before! This means a few
changes are afoot. For summary, scroll to the bottom.

First, we have some wonderful new delivery girls hauling
loaves around the city. These bread ladies are swift and safe!
Please welcome them with your beautiful smiles when they
arrive! (And feel free to tip them a few bucks!) If you're
interested in doing some deliveries, please let me know!

Second, the payment/delivery system will be morphing
over the next few weeks. To make our routes a little more
fluid, and to help us stay on schedule in case of unforeseen
bike troubles, please provide a delivery spot that is safe if
you are not home. This can be behind your porch plant, at
your neighbor's, at your workplace, etc. If you will only be home
for a small window, we'd prefer it if you left us a check or paid in
advance. This will make the deliveries less stressful, allowing us
to have a fun and relaxing day of bike deliveries!

Finally, we'll be rolling out a new bread subscription service!
You can purchase multiple loaves in advance in person or through
Etsy. Prepay for 4 or 8 loaves at a time, or a combo of loaves and
muffins. Once you've purchased, you'll have credit in the bread
bank and can order as many (or few) loaves as you'd like each week.

Now, the menu!

Whole Grain Orange Cardamom Bread - $8
organic brown rice, whole millet, whole grain sorghum flour, whole
teff, arrowroot, guar gum, yeast, salt, organic cardamom, oranges
from Bill Ferry Ranches, organic cinnamon, organic allspice, organic
nutmeg, organic molasses.

Sourdough Cornbread - $8
organic brown rice, whole millet, whole grain sorghum flour, polenta,
arrowroot, guar gum, salt.

Apple Cinnamon Muffins - $3
organic brown rice, whole millet, polenta, arrowroot, guar gum, salt,
baking powder, organic cinnamon, organic buckwheat, apples from
Rainbow Orchards, applesauce from Rainbow Orchards, local olive
oil, organic agave.

Order by noon on Monday for SF delivery on Tues. 3/6.
Order by noon on Wednesday for East Bay delivery on Thurs. 3/8.

Please include a delivery spot and phone number. Once again, if you
will not be home to receive the bread, please leave a check for Sadie
Scheffer, and we will drop off your bread!

IN SUMMARY
:

-we have new delivery girls! please feel free to tip them!
-deliveries are slow. if you might not be home, please leave a check,
and tell us where to leave your breads!
-check out our Etsy store to pre-purchase breads! we'll deliver as usual,
but won't have to worry about arriving in a narrow time window.

Thank you!!

-Sadie and the delivery ladies

p.s. We will no longer be offering discounts on multiple loaves. The
extra few dollars will go towards paying the delivery ladies! We
apologize if this causes any inconvenience, but we hope that you will
continue to support the CSA bakery and bikery.
